Doctoral thesis

The applicable regulations regarding the preparation, processing, and evaluation of the doctoral dissertation are those set forth in Royal Decree RD 99/2011 and, together with the amendment to RD 576/2023, as well as in the UDC doctoral regulations.

 

Program-specific requirements for the presentation and defense of the doctoral dissertation:

• Completion of required activities:
  At least one pesentation of a paper at a national or international conference.
  


• Program quality criteria for authorizing the thesis defense:
  A scientific contribution prepared by the doctoral candidate and derived from the thesis that has been definitively accepted or is already included in publications of relevant national or international scope and prestige within the field of the doctoral thesis.
